"THE HOG" Series of AC Style Ductile Iron
Industrial Service Elevator Buckets

T.O.P.S. has listened to customers needs for years, thus designing a true industrial duty ductile iron elevator bucket that is second to none, known around here as, "THE KING HOG"! Today’s high throughput facilities demand a tough bucket more now than ever, so we engineered our full line of AC ductile iron buckets to have thicker corners, thicker front lips and thicker back walls as compared to other bucket brands on the market. We know AC’s run in tough applications, because of this we maximized all bucket parameters to provide you, our customer, the toughest and most efficient ductile iron bucket available. This allows facilities to run more efficient due to less downtime and less maintenance costs. Simply stated, our buckets will withstand the test!
Our "HOG" Series of AC Ductile Iron Style buckets are designed to be used in slow speed centrifugal discharge bucket elevators, running belt or chain. This style bucket is equipped with a hooded back, high front lip and vent holes for quicker loading and unloading. Typically, AC buckets elevate fluffy, free flowing materials similar to cement where slow speed discharge is required.

Why Use "Net" Capacity for Engineering Purposes
T.O.P.S. Inc. recommends using "Net" capacity on all industrial style elevator buckets for "real world" engineering. Industrial products have high angles of repose due to their sluggish and dense nature, causing product to form a mound in the elevator bucket when loaded; which is also known as Net Capacity. This calculation allows for a more accurate, yet still conservative elevator bucket rating and has been in use for many years among engineers and bucket elevator manufacturers worldwide. Please don’t hesitate to contact T.O.P.S. Inc for engineering recommendations.
About our current AC ductile iron bucket line and future plans:
Due to the tough applications AC style buckets operate in we decided to design our entire AC line into "THE KING HOG" to withstand these rigors; as compare to the standard duty AC buckets often seen in the marketpace. We placed a "KH" next to the size to denote this tough oinker. However, for the shy type we will have a "lighter duty" AC in the future.
Dare to run a test against our porker……"THE KING HOG"?
We welcome any customer to request three free samples to test against ANY other brand of ductile iron or malleable iron bucket on the market. We are so confident our "KING HOG" will outlast our competition, we will supply a elevator of free buckets should we fail! Please contact T.O.P.S. Inc. for a complete list of rules at 877-326-4707.
