T.O.P.S. has listened to customers needs for years, thus designing a true industrial duty aluminum elevator bucket that is second to none, known around here as, "THE KING HOG"! Today’s high throughput facilities demand a tough bucket more now than ever, so we engineered our 7", 8", 10" and 13" projection aluminum buckets to have thicker corners, thicker front lips and thicker back walls as compared to other bucket brands on the market. We know these sizes run in the toughest applications, and because of this we maximized all bucket parameters to provide you, our customer, the toughest and most efficient aluminum bucket available. This allows facilities to run more efficient due to less downtime and less maintenance costs. Simply stated, our buckets will withstand the test!
Our "HOG" Series of AA Style Aluminum buckets are designed to be used in slow speed centrifugal discharge bucket elevators, running belt or chain. This aluminum option offers corrosion resistance, non-sparking and a high temp lightweight option. Typically, AA aluminum buckets elevate non abrasive, fluffy and free flowing materials where slow speed discharge is required.

Why Use "Net" Capacity for Engineering Purposes?
T.O.P.S. Inc. recommends using "Net" capacity on all industrial style elevator buckets for "real world" engineering. Industrial products have high angles of repose due to their sluggish and dense nature causing product to form a mound in the elevator bucket when loaded; which is also known as Net Capacity. This calculation allows for a more accurate, yet still conservative elevator bucket rating and has been in use for many years among engineers and bucket elevator manufacturers worldwide. About our current AA aluminum bucket line and future plans:
Due to the toughest applications typically using the largest bucket sizes, T.O.P.S. chose to make,"THE KING HOG" in those sizes first. We placed "KH" next to the size to denote this tough little oinker. Due to popular demand we will also be offering "THE KING HOG" in all common bucket sizes, small and large, in the future.
