Sweetheart Style elevator buckets are designed to be used in high speed centrifugal discharge bucket elevators running belt. The Sweetheart style bucket uses the proven HS design which has been in use for over 50 years. The standard vented ends provide faster and clean discharge. Die-formed “wraparound” ends that conform into matching offsets at the rear of the bucket provide reinforcement and a flat belt surface. Ears and tapered ends minimize spillage plus permits nesting for ease of handling, shipping & storage. Typically, Sweetheart buckets elevate fluffy or free flowing materials where high speed discharge is required.

Why Use “Water Level 10%” Capacity for Engineering Purposes?
T.O.P.S. Inc. recommends using “Water Level 10%” capacity on all agricultural style elevator buckets for “real world” engineering. Agricultural products have various angles of repose due to their free flowing nature, causing product to form a mound in the elevator bucket when loaded; also known as Water Level 10%. This calculation allows for a more accurate, yet still conservative elevator bucket rating and has been in use for many years among engineers and bucket elevator manufacturers worldwide.
